Frederick J. Amendolia…Founder/Chairman/CEO, The ACORN Group, LLC, A Philadelphia Real Estate/Financial Services Firm based on the Delaware River in the Penn Treaty section of the city, and Broker of Record of, a full service real estate brokerage licensed in PA and NJ. He has put together an infrastructure which gives real estate agents, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals the tools to offer their clients the ease of one-stop shopping. 

Freddie has been putting smiles on client’s faces for almost four decades! Freddie’s wonderful personality, along with his charm and genuine desire to devote his whole heart and soul to each client makes him endeared by all. Freddie started his long real estate career as a Realtor Associate for a small company in Philadelphia in 1980, gaining a strong background in Estate Planning along the way. Freddie has been honored with the designation “Certified Senior Advisor” by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors and is also a Certified Distressed Property Expert. His awards for professional achievement are vast, including the prestigious Prudential award, “Top Gun” for Excellence. With the desire to give back to the communities we serve, Freddie has taken an active role via Children’s Miracle Network, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia,  A member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Leaders Circle, as well as being a Trustee of the Knights of Columbus and a Noble of Shriners International.

Margaret A. Zabo-Castelli, Chief Legal Officer, The ACORN Group, President and Chief Operating Officer at Acorn Closing Services. Peg is an attorney at law and licensed title agent in the States of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Peg handles real estate matters as well as clearing title to ensure that she gets her clients to the closing table in a timely manner.

Carla Bracaglia-McAllister, Vice President of The ACORN Group, Regional Manager of Acorn Closing Services. Carla started her career working at a small NJ real estate brokerage in 1999 as a receptionist. Shortly thereafter, Carla then became licensed to sell NJ Real Estate.  She worked her way up to office assistant, which consisted of paying bills, training new agents, managing the REO division, and processing all of the agent’s listings, sales, commissions and rentals. She then took a position as Office Administrator,  which turned into running the office for the past 14 years.  In her role at ACORN, Carla is using her knowledge and vast experience of Title, Mortgages, Real Estate, and is currently working with Realtors’, CPA’s, Estate Attorneys, Real Estate Attorneys, Mortgage Bankers and Brokers and other centers of influence to better serve their clients and customers.  With her long tenure in Real Estate, Carla also serves as Brokerage Administrator at

danielle D’alonzo


Danielle is Team Coordinator/Realtor Associate of The ACORN Group and She was born and raised in South Philadelphia and moved to Margate City after graduating from Prep Charter. After spending her first full summer as a "Margatian", she is currently working on her Masters in Criminal Justice at Stockton University while working as Freddie's "Right Arm"! When not at school or work, you will find Danielle either swimming downbeach, playing pickleball or training and boxing at The JCC. Cathleen J. DeMarco-D'Alonzo, First Vice President, Director, Human Resources at The ACORN Group. Kate takes pride in working with upper management and employees to provide a smooth flowing work environment for all.
A seasoned HR leader with over 25 years business & Human Resources experience in medium to large-sized organizations providing guidance in start-up, growth and stabilization. Before joining ACORN, Kate assisted with setting up training for new bankers and maintained training for existing bankers while working at the Risk Management Association. Kate Managed employees in Account Receivables, Account Payables and Collections. Kate is also Executive Assistant to the CEO and President of our Real Estate, Development, and Title Services Companies for many years.
Whether you are an internal or external customer, Customer Service is Kate's number one priority.

Jonathan M. Grizaniuk, Regional Director of New Business Development at The ACORN Group (covering the Cape-Atlantic to Burlington Region of New Jersey, as well as Philadelphia and it’s surrounding counties). Graduating from Stockton University with a Bachelors of Arts, and Major in Business Studies along with continuing education in Financial and Retirement Planning, Jonathan comes from a strong Financial and Insurance background with Toronto Dominion Bank as a Financial Advisor.
